Evoke the Feeling of the Season with Lighting

Fall is quickly approaching (we can already smell the pumpkin spice from a mile away), and with that comes a new season of wedding trends. We’re cozying up to the idea that fall weddings have nearly surpassed summer in terms of popularity, and the idea isn’t lost on us that clients are digging for fresh inspiration when it comes to lighting. We’ve rounded up some new trends to really help you emulate the crunching of leaves and sipping of warm cider in your next event.

Create an autumn ambiance

You don’t have to fill your event space with jack-o-lanterns in order to achieve a fall vibe. Bringing outdoor elements inside doesn’t have to be kitschy. A great substitute for ordinary candle accessories is to incorporate small, hollowed-out logs into your décor to act as candleholders. They can be topped with pillar candles as well to serve as centerpieces for important tables, such as a couple’s sweetheart table.

LED candles create a welcoming glow when paired with acorns, pinecones, or fall leaves, and can be easily tied together when placed in clear glassware. Colored candles like rust, blue, and burgundy in fall scents create a warm atmosphere that will make guests feel right at home.

Waterfall lighting

String lighting is nothing new or groundbreaking when it comes to events, but when used sparingly and in a waterfall-like formation, it can draw attention quite beautifully. This trend is achieved by hanging LED string lights in a side-by-side configuration to make the impression of water falling, particularly in alternating lengths. Whether it’s an installation as a backdrop for photos, or an altar installation, it’s sure to bring a romantic touch to your event.

“Tapered candles and candelabras seem to be a lost art for lighting in most events. They’re gaining popularity once more, and the height and elegance makes a bigger impact that you might think.”

Antique & eclectic

Tapered candles and candelabras seem to be a lost art for lighting in most events. They’re gaining popularity once more, and the height and elegance makes a bigger impact that you might think. Purchasing these candles in a variety of heights and colors is a wonderful way to play around with minimalism or luxury depending on the vibe your event is going for.

Fall events are making a huge wave in the event décor scene, and lighting is a sure way to wow your guests and go bold, even with subtle touches.
