The American Culinary Federation, Inc., established in 1929, has 22,000 members spanning 230 chapters nationwide. The organization offers educational resources, training and apprenticeships, and accredits secondary and postsecondary culinary programs. In addition, ACF operates the most comprehensive certification program for chefs in the United States, including two certifications specifically designed for catering executives. ACF is home to ACF Culinary Team USA , the official team representing the U.S. in culinary competition.

Continuing Education Hours
Catersource education contributes to the mandatory courses in sanitation, nutrition and business management, as well as providing the avenue for gaining experience. All sessions at the 2014 Conference are approved for ACF continuing education hours. If you attend the entire conference, you can earn up to 20.75 CEHs:
