Hopefully you are giddy with anticipation for Catersource 2021 next week! As you check off your final to-dos in advance of the conference, below you will find everything you need to get the most out of your time.
Networking is one of the biggest takeaways at this show, and we encourage you to say hello to someone new.
Throughout the conference, you’ll have the opportunity to network at all of the evening parties, and on the tradeshow floor.
Dress to Impress
Since you will have so many opportunities to network with your fellow professionals, make sure to bring a few different clothing options to ensure that you are putting your best foot forward. If you are heading out to any of the evening parties, make sure to take a look at the recommended attire:
Map it Out
If you are new to the Miami area, take some time to map out your destinations for the week, and give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to be. Even though all of the Catersource events will take place in the Miami Beach Convention Center, it’s important to know where to park, and the fastest route from your starting point, whether that’s the airport or you place of business. Also, take a look at the evening parties that you will be attending so that you know where to meet. And don’t underestimate the importance of mapping out the conference day. Review the conference floorplan to figure out the locations of your sessions, as well as any particular vendors you hope to see on the trade show floor.
We want you all to know that we are keeping your health and safety at the conference top of mind. COVID-19 restrictions are continually changing but we confer with the Miami Beach Convention Center often to ensure we are apprised of all initiatives. Additionally, our own Informa AllSecure measures are taken very seriously. As for the event space at the convention center—it’s huge. We can easily distance and still have a robust attendance.
If you want to review Informa AllSecure, go to informa.com/about-us/allsecure. You can also find it on our show websites. There are 10 initiatives, which include specifications surrounding cleaning and hygiene, physical distancing, and detection.
Take time to review this year’s Education Sessions to see which ones you are most interested in, or most relevant to you. Once you have selected which sessions you would like to attend, make sure to set up your schedule.
Above all else, make sure that you take the time to have some fun at Catersource 2021! Check out the competitions, watch a cooking demonstration, connect with old friends, or maybe make some new ones.
We hope that you, like us, look forward to attending Catersource all year long. We can’t wait to see you next week!
