Bored of existing catering standards that dulled the mind (and taste buds), Matt Antoun founded Modern Art Catering in 2010. Starting as boutique, private dining specialists, he and his team of professionals have grown into full-service caterers, focused on excellent customer service, innovative cuisine and personalized experiences, topped off with a heaping portion of integrity.

Called “one of the most talented, young up and coming chefs in Los Angeles” (L.A. Sates online magazine), and “a gifted culinary artist” (actor Peter Fonda), by the age of 23, Matt had worked in 11 restaurant kitchens, including alongside luminaries Tom Valenti and Thomas Keller at NYC’s acclaimed The West Branch and Per Se. Time in California and Argentina had already inspired creativity and a love of fresh ingredients and Matt returned to LA eager to make his own mark on the culinary landscape. He’s been crafting edible masterpieces at Modern Art Catering ever since.
