Karen O’Connor’s culinary passion began at the Red River Community College in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After graduating at the top of her class she moved to Toronto and ended up working at Daniel et Daniel in their earliest days.  Karen left Daniel et Daniel to have her son in 1985, and then went on to work in a number of top restaurants in Toronto such as Bistro 990 and Rosewater Supper Club.  In 1999 Daniel et Daniel was pleased to have Karen return and bring with her a wealth of new knowledge and experience.  Since her return, Karen has been able to cook for The Queen of England, work with Chef Gordon Ramsey and Chef Wolfgang Puck, as well as make beautiful, delicious food for all of Daniel et Daniel’s clients.  Karen is also very active in the International Caterers Association and is Vice-Chair of the Culinary Council.
