Lighting and Candle Options for Holiday Events

With the holidays just around the corner, it’s time to bring out the festive decorations and prepare for upcoming holiday parties and events. Whether it’s a Christmas soiree or a Hanukkah get-together being planned, there are a number of ways to light up your clients’ holiday celebrations.

There’s just something about the holiday season that calls for warm candlelight to bring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to any gathering. Although snow may be falling just outside the window, a crackling fireplace and nice mix of candles are all you need to provide the cozy ambiance your clients are looking for.

If you’re lucky enough to be planning at a venue with a fireplace, consider filling the fireplace with candles of different heights for a dynamic look. If your clients are insistent on having a roaring fire to warm their hands (and who could blame them?), take advantage of the mantle space and mix in LED lights with some lush greenery for a lovely effect. Working in pine needles is a wonderful way to embrace the season.

Fairy lights aren’t just for Christmas trees, either. The twinkle of LED string lights can bring a magical feel to any holiday shindig.

Hang lights around the event space or string them up at the entrance for a warm welcome to every guest. Stick to white lights for a beautiful complement to the colored décor throughout the event space. For an extra festive look, consider red and green lights for a Christmas themed event, or white and blue to celebrate Hanukkah. Coiled string lights are another creative way to produce a lovely effect: place a set of lights in a vase for a glowing centerpiece that can easily be made to match the event’s color palette.

When it comes to winter parties, people seek intimate environments to celebrate the festivities with close loved ones. What better way to provide the perfect experience than with cozy lighting effects that will make guests feel snug and sheltered from the elements? The possibilities are endless—use your imagination to incorporate candles and other lighting effects into the space for a holiday bash to remember!
