Top Gun veteran and host of The Chew, caterer Carla Hall dazzled attendees at the opening session. Catersource favorites Mike Roman, Meryl Snow, Bill Pannhoff, Jamie Keating, Cade Nagy, David Everett and more also took the stage for a variety of courses in design, operations, sales and marketing, menu development and more.

Education Sessions to Build Your Business

The Catersource Xperience Stage and special interest tracks for weddings, restaurants, college & university catering, non-commercial catering and drop off/picnic catering were among the education sessions offered at Catersource 2010. All were taught by well-known and successful caterers and foodservice industry professionals.

Tradeshow

March 9-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center

The 2010 Tradeshow featured hundreds of exhibitors, a chef demo area featuring consultations from an advisory board of industry chefs, the live buffet building event and the Tabletop contest.

Anthology Party

Developed by Cade Nagy (Catering by Design, Denver, CO) and Domenic Chiaromonte (Match Restaurant & Catering, Toronto, ON), Catersource's signature party took over the Bally's Event Center on March 9, 2010. The pair of world-class chefs created a magical environment, featuring the New Traditional Buffet, roving Disco World Taco Carts featuring sparkling tacos, the Torched Station with fiery flair, a Nitro Bar with mad scientist-style presentations, the When It Rains area that featured umbrella bars and was topped off by the Pyramid of Chocolate Dreams.

Out of the Box Boxed Lunch

On Monday, March 8, 2010, caterers created Out of the Box solutions to the complicated issue of drop-off catering.

The talented catering professionals featured in Catersource educational sessions joined attendees for a small-group lunch on Monday, March 8, 2010.

2010 Spotlight/CATIE Awards

Held at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas, the 2010 Event Solutions Spotlight/ICA CATIE awards honored the top caterers and event planners in the industry on Monday, March 8.

Cocktails & Connections

The Catersource opening night event is always a fantastic time to network with attendees, sip a glass of champagne and plan your trip at Catersource. This reception featured prizes from the TV Show Party Down and invited caterers to share their stories and be featured on the show.
