The Catersource and Food Management Non-Commercial Caterer of the
Year Award recognizes noteworthy achievements through culinary, organization, community and professional development.
For the first time ever, Catersource Magazine, Conference & Tradeshow and FoodManagement magazine, are partnering to recognize one outstanding caterer in non-commercial foodservice. One leading business and industry, college, healthcare or military caterer will be honored onstage in front of 4,000 of their peers during the Grand Opening Session of the 2010 Catersource Conference & Tradeshow on March 8, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Non-commercial organizations, domestic and international that are eligible to enter include:
• Business and industry: individual accounts, self-operated and contract management
• Colleges and universities: individual accounts, self-operated and contract management
• Healthcare: individual accounts, self-operated and contract management
• Military: individual accounts
To be considered, all nominees and their organizations should:
• Have been in operation at least 3 full years as of March, 2010.
• Demonstrate innovation in menu design, sales and marketing materials and food and décor
presentation ideas.
• Demonstrate strong human resource programs, service standards and food quality standards.
• Clearly show flexibility and creativity servicing the customer within their organization.
• Have documented support of association and industry-related activities that promote, protect and advance the industry and its image.
• Prove to be an organization that has faced challenges and overcome them with tangible success.
Judging:
2010 Non-Commercial Caterer of the Year finalists and winners will be determined by the Catersource Non-Commercial Caterer of the Year Steering Committee comprised of catering leaders representing Business and industry, Colleges and universities, Healthcare and the Military.
As the 2010 Non-Commercial Caterer of the Year, you will:
• Receive the official winner logo to use on marketing materials.
• Receive a one-year listing on catersource.com as the official winner.
• Receive a one-year listing with contact information in each issue of Catersource magazine as the official winner.
• Be featured in an article in Catersource magazine.
• Be featured in an article in FoodManagement magazine.
• Be featured in press releases emailed to AHF, NACUFS, IMCEA, Aramark, Compass and Sodexo.
• Receive one complimentary registration for the 2011 Catersource Conference & Tradeshow.
• Receive an official plaque presented by Mike Roman, president/founder of Catersource and John Lawn, Editor in Chief/Associate Publisher of FoodManagement on the main stage during the Grand Opening Session of the 2010 Catersource Conference & Tradeshow.
• Be named as a judge for the 2011 Catersource/FoodManagement Non-Commercial Caterer of the Year Award competition.
